love story? That’s Kathy’s Song! Backstory are more than
a tribute act. They create beautifully crafted song +
storytelling shows about iconic Sixties artists.
Kathy’s Song explores the real-life romance between Paul
Simon and a girl called Kathy – the muse behind some of
his most iconic songs. Along the way, we follow the highs
and lows of Simon & Garfunkel’s rise to fame, told through
timeless music and a deeply human story.
All the hits, performed live, in a rich, hugely enjoyable
show. A perfect blast from the past!
Storyteller/singer/show writer Cat Weatherill has performed
at the world’s greatest literary festivals and is a best-selling
author. Singer/guitarist Ian Cooke is an internationally
acclaimed musician and composer.

About The Swallowfield Events Group
Several year ago, as some will remember, the Swallowfield Parish Events Group was launched with the aim of bringing good quality, professional entertainment to the parish. Unfortunately the group disbanded after COVID and was much missed. Having talked about reviving a Swallowfield Events Group for some time, we finally did it!
We were absolutely delighted have had a sold out show with All For Your Delight by the Farnham Maltings production company and we are really excited to bring to the Parish the next production: Kathys’ Song.
